Fine Old Tawny Port

Gorgeous amber colour. Strong, spicy Port aroma (can't figure out what else to call it). Bottle calles it "rancio". Same on the palate. Very smooth at 20% alcohol. You don't even knowtice it. Made from Grenache and Shiraz. Excellent stuff. I think I enjoyed it more than the Whisker's Blake Tawny. Even better with some walnuts. Not sure if I liked the stilton though.

PS-I guess today was a grenache and syrah day...
At a tasting I went to had a cote du rhone rose (very nice, will post notes when we pop the cork), a CDRV, and a washington syrah (Hogue 99) which was quite nice at $15.
