2000 Sparrow Lane Zinfandel

Yet another dog I dragged to the Ocean which was rec. by one of my fav wine shops. Very UN-Zinfandel. No bramble, zinberry or raspberry. All diluted candied cherry and strawberry flavors. Long finish, though, but who wants a long finish with those flavors? Poured mine down the drain. 15%Alc/vol.

I've been stung by trusted wine clerks, too. Must be in cahoots with the drain monster.

Does that "trusted" wine shop do tastings? If so, best buy only what they pour and you like.

Who produces Sparrow Lane? Never heard of it.
