Just bought a bottle and wanted to spread the word that @10.99 (in my town) this stuff
is capable of producing poetry in the most arid of minds. I never thought I'd appreciate the Gallo family quite so much ( excepting all the high school make out parties of course) Buying a case tomorrow.
P.S. Decant

Sorry I just noticed this subject has been discussed. Let this redundancy serve to underscore the point that this particular wine rocks. The perfect bottle to serve friends and family. Where can one find the
'97?

Good luck in finding the 97 Heritage Vines. All I see are the 98s out on the shelves. I can still find the Dry Creek 97s though...

Glad I still have a case of the 97!

Haven't tried the 98 yet, but will soon....

I notice you're from Northampton. Go see Paul Provost at Table and Vine (the old Big Y). If anyone out there can get the 97, he can. However, don't hold your breath, because I'd think the 97's are gone if the 98's are on the shelves. It's worth a try, though.

KC, Thanks for the news. I`ve often wondered what happenend to BigY. Used to order tons of stuff from them. Hadn`t seen any ads etc for years so assumed they went under. The way their management was pricing it was a natural assumption.winoweenie By the way, I had a bottle of this nice juice last nite with my world-renowned (maybe neighborhood) Marinara souce with potobello mushroom Raviolis` and it sang. WW,

They're still going strong. Paul Provost came in as manager about a year or two ago to straighten them out. He came from a very successful stint at Sturbridge Yankee Spirits, where he made them one of the, if not the, largest wine retailers in Massachusetts. Good guy, really knows his products and he's building a great portfolio. Their phone number is 800-474-BIGY if you want to get back in touch, They have a web site (I forget the URL at the moment) and a great newsletter.

The exact bottling has once again been ommitted here. Did the normally savvy Gallo marketing people screw up here, or did they do it on purpose? $10.99 is a good buy for the Dry Creek Valley bottling, but is a rip off for the Hertitage Vines which should sell for well under $10.00.

I can't buy the Heritage vines anywhere in the Baltimore Metro area for less than $10 single bottle price.

Thanks Raggedy. That's just about the situation here in Maine is, despite our ridiculous tax laws.
