From 10 year old,(young), vines. I really enjoyed this zin which displays concentrated berry flavors, raspberry, cherry and strawberry. While this wine doesn't display the depth that old vine grapes display, it shows a very interesting layering flavor effect. The first taste is a pleasant, fruit forward blast for several seconds when a layer of concentrated, deeper flavors overwhelm your tongue. It is very distinct and I've only experienced this with a few wines. Recommended. 14.1% Alc/vol. $16
