I've been challenged to place a bet on a footbal game - what is a "good" bottle of California Cabernet, and what should I pay?

I don't expect to lose the bet, but I should at least know what I'm getting into...

Please advise.,.

It all depends on who you've made the bet with. If they're into serious CA Cabs, then a "good" bottle may be something like a 1997 Phelps Insignia (just as an example) at about $125. If not, then maybe a 1999 Hess Estate Cab at $20 would work.
