Had a glass at restaurant in Charlotte with lamb shank with mushrooms, zucchini slices and creamy polenta. Some viscosity. Dark purple color, opaque in glass. Something of a fruit bomb with ripe red and black fruits. Not noticeably peppery. The wine drank smoothly with no prominent tannin. Some black currants suggested among the fruit nuances.

had a bottle of this several months ago. no longer have the TNs, but i was very unimpressed. for me, this wine had no character at all. wouldn't recommend. there's much better shirazes out there, even at $10 and under.

I agree. For example, the Wynn's Coonawarra Estate Shiraz is better I think; also Paringa Shiraz.
