1999 Kilikanoon Siblings is Grenache-Shiraz with a touch of Cab. Smooth tannins and warm, ripe fruit (plum and raspberry with some nice pepper and spice). Got it for $12 or so at Tower in Atlanta - but it tastes far more dear than that. This is a lovely wine.

I'll bet their more expensive Oracle is a killer.

The Aussies do such pleasant things with Grenache and Shiraz.

I 100% agree. I also bought it at Tower and have been meaning to try the other Kilikanoon bottlings.

We had the 1997 Billi Billi Creek from Mt. Langhi Ghiran (also a Tower purchase) this weekend. Absolutely awesome! Summer berries, black pepper, and good alcohol, but not overly jammy or heavy. We had it after dinner while watching a new DVD set -- the 1st season of 24, which we had missed (started watching this season).

We enjoyed the wine/TV pairing
