2003 McGuigan Shiraz

2003 McGuigan, Black Label, Shiraz ($7.99 local super). Alcohol level 13.5%. The '03 is right up the past vintages. Very nice journeyman Shiraz. Nice fruit and very smooooth. Matched nicely with extra thick lamb shoulder chops marinated in mint and OO mayonaise. Yummy on a Sunday night.

This always seems to be a great standard for Aussie wines! Thanks for the update, have yet to taste the 2003 but will do so now.
