I would like an appraisal of a 1985 Barbaresco bottled by Salvano from Diano D'Albo, Italy. 750 ML.

Thank you

If you mean resale value, zero. This is made by a third or fourth tier producer so there will be no secondary market. BUT, they are fairly traditional winemakers, '85 was a GREAT vintage (so even so-so producers had nature on their side) and the cost of bying a 16 year old Barbaresco to replace that one would be $75+ so you could say that is its value while you consume it with some nice grilled meat and mushrooms (truffles if you can).

enjoy, Roberto
