'97 Paitin Barbaresco Sori Paitin

Initially very backward and mostly just a wall of tannin. Eventually some cherry, tar, and rose flavors peeked through the wall and made for some good drinking. Excellent potential, but nowhere near ready.

I have found, contrary to critical opinion, that the '96 Barbarescos are more forward and enjoyable now than the '97s.
