What a HUGE disappointment! If this is what A-Mano has worked hard to attain...yuk! Doesn't even resemble primitivo or zin like qualities. Bland with little fruit and acidic, tannic, green vegetation flavors, I recorked after 1/2 glass. Will revisit tonight and report on the further development of this witch's brew. 13.5%Alc/vol still $8.99

Can't find anyone who likes the A Mano. In fact, we stopped carrying it. Now we have the Pervini Primitivo. Much, much better at about a buck or two more.

We liked the A-Mano a few years back, but there has been a real noticable dropoff in quality. FWIW, we've tried two of the '02s, and there was great bottle variation. The first was just as you described above -- almost verbatim in my personal TN -- while the second we tried was better. In my mind, though, why bother with it when there are so many better and more consistent wines at the price point.

I've also quit buying A Mano. The last one in the db is the '00.
