60% Negramaro 40% Primitivo

Very good stuff. Spicy, earthy entrance with a large and long, acidic fruity finish. (Backwards of what I'm used to - usually goes fruity then spicey). $9.50

We were the first to bring this wine to the states, eight years ago, and sold it for $6.99 and did about 500 cases one summer. Then the winery hired an American marketer and the price went north fast...

Good juice though and Alicia is a hottie!

I like Pervini's Manduria Primitivo--now goes for about $12 retail.
