5 dollar quaffer

Had the wife pick up some 1999 Piccini Chianti. I use it to cook with. Its cheap, not bad and not woody. It works well with my Speedy Spagetti sauce.

Well, had a few sips and this was way better than the 1998. Which I had used for cooking.

Upfront fruit, good acid and light tannin. Light body. A decent drinker that seems very food friendly for 5 smackers.
