My local wine shop, E&R, will be doing some Italian region classes. The first will be Peidmont and Alto Adige. The focus will be on matching one famous region with a lesser known region so people can taste the famous, often more expensive wines, and experiance the value wines from the lesser known region. Will be on Mar. 12 for $20. If you're in the Portland area, you may wish to call them to get reservations.

Watching an $18 Lagrein Dunkel blow a famous and $$$$ Barolo off the table is always a thing of beauty. Have fun!
