2003 Molissimo Rosso Red Wine, Molise

Montepulciano and Aglianico grape blend.
This wine was one of several that I tasted at Midway yesterday afternoon after a particularly dreadful day interacting with IT goobers where I work. Floral and spicy dark berry and dark cherry flavors. The wine shows a hint of earthy sweetness which I really enjoyed. Moderate complexity and good balance, this medium bodied red is a solid effort with a lingering finish. The best part is it's $58 case buy. 13% Alc/vol.
