2004 Agostina Pieri Rosso de Montalcino

This wine is a beautiful purple color with a nicely fruity nose... Cherry dominates.
On the palate this is medium-full bodied with a lot of fruit, again cherry mostly and some dark berries, a little leathery earthiness, and a long finish. This will last several years easily, but is awfully attractive now.

This was at one of our tastings, and sold better than the $10 wines, which is unusual for us.
