2005 Costello Monastero Sangiovese Toscano IGT

One she gave me last year, from Spec's in Houston. Nice nose but very weakly colored in the glass, confirmed on the palate as insipid and lacking structure. Improved with food (lasagna) but still not up to snuff in my book. Think she gave $13 and change for it and bought three bottles; will gently suggest that she look for their Chianti Classico on her next visit to Houston, and otherwise not bother. 13% alc/vol.
