Hi Byn, and welcome to the Wine Board. Next year, and that will not be all of them. Some '94s and '95s were just released this year, and we're not talking about Riservas here.

Some '97 Brunello's will certainly hit the streets this year as the wine would have spent nearly 48 months in oak by now if it has not been bottled - longer than what is legally required. Watch the store shelves, or better yet, head to Montelcino - lovely town with plenty of wine to be tasted!!

Can't wait for some of these myself.

I love the name utahwino--an incongruous juxtaposition.

I know what you mean, Foodie. I spent 5 years in Idaho. Its like Utah Jr. there... What part of Utah you in, Utahwine? How is your local wine shopping?

Oh yuck...... Kinda like around here then.

Wine stores here are controlled/constricted by the State controlled distributors.

MrD. The stores in Utah are Owned, Constructed, Staffed, and Stocked by the state and all wine is purchased and sold by the state. Saw an article that shows the power of the almighty buck that the Utah courts have decreed that now restaurants can actually TELL diners that they have wine. YOWZZAH, YOWZZAH, YOWZZAH the olymics flame-up agin'! WW
