Color a deep red with violet flashes. This was a fat and juicy wine with dark berries on the nose and entry (blackberry and blueberry), and a coffee note on the finish that was borderline too much for Anne. Consumed over two nights -- not decanted. 13.5% alc. Nice wine that we may try again. Paid about $11.
