$6.50 for 3 oz. pour with dinner at Vin Enoteca in Raleigh. (Copper River salmon with Pistou of diced zucchini, squash and sugar snaps and spring herb salad).
Pale red color, not dense. Nose of cherries and a little sous bois. Medium body but packs a punch. Some Burgundian elements. Leaves me figuratively licking my lips after a sip (well maybe in reality as well).

Appetizer was "silken corn latte" served in a coffee cup. Corn is scraped from the cob and cooked with the cob, then pureed and strained to an entirely liquid form that can be drunk or eaten with a spoon. Frothy on top like a latte. Dessert for me was a piece of goat cheese, Chabrin, which was new to me. Slightly nutty flavor, salty and crusty, and good (but not as good as Laura Chenel). Served with dried figs.

Chef sent over a 1.5 oz. tasting of Leflaive white Burgundy and a scoop of canteloupe sorbet. The sorbet was pale orange and tasted like canteloupe! (Her mint sorbet tastes extremely minty--she captures pure flavors in the sorbets).

Like that one. It retails for $15 plus or minus $2.
