<<As the original proponent of America On Wine, I'm naturally a bit disappointed as it seems to be a logical fit.

As for AOL complaining, hell, I'd take our case over theirs in a heartbeat. Not especially good for their case is the fact that they DROPPED the wine boards and their affiliation with wine. If need be, I will run this proposal past a friend who practices intellectual property law.>>

Not that I know anything about the law (no pun intended) , but I too thought Lawdro's idea was the best one....hell, they are even better than mine I can't see a problem with America On Wine, but then again, AOL seems to think that "You've got mail" should be protected. Next, they will want to have sole rights "Welcome". Or do they already own that word?

We'll know we've really got problems if AOL tries to enforce a copyright on "RobtWood".

At the top of this page, there are several links to useful stuff. The "faq" explains how to use the smilies.

I must be missing something. By "America on Wine", putting aside the clever play on words, do you mean that American wine drinkers are commenting on wine? If so this is not the case. While most posters are AOL expats, soon the entire world will be visiting and posting. Why, we already have the foremost author on sparklers putting his two shillings in the discussions.

Please clarify

The Wine Board gets my vote. An obviously perfect pairing with The Dine Board, etc. I suggest we call the former
"critique the critics" The Whine Board.!
No, Instead, call it the WHINE BAR.!
