On opening this bottle was rather reserved but a bit of air opened this up immensely. Nose of very pretty red fruits, mushroom, earth, moved towards being much more serious and structured with about 2 hours of air. Wonderful balance, great translucent garnet colour. Very pretty wine that has some distance to go still.

Sounds like my kind of Burgundy. I have some Chevillon NSG 1er cru but two bottles are from the iffy 2004 so I will open one to try this fall.
