I don't have a tasting note on this, but quickly: I was tasted on this today and bought itn (for the restaurant). At first, the minty or menthol or eucalyptus nose attracted me to the wine. The big fruit, in a concentrated big, almost new world style helped also.

Several hours later the nose has gone all fruit. A nice wieghty center with balanced acidity and a nice finish made me finish off the bottle.

Great QPR at around $20.

I have not tried the 01 but will look for it. Had a few of the '00's and they were pretty good too for around the same price.
