I was told that this would be approachable now. Still I decanted for consumption some three hours ahead. Nice deep ruby color. Nose was of blackberry, chocolate. Taste h blackberry, chocolate and coffee end. Wine was dry with very strong tannins at the end This wine needs more time in the cellar. Still nice for $24.

Paired with an Angus shoulder cut steak with a red wine reduction mushroom onion sauce.
