At 10 years old, it is bearly showing any age.

Wine opens up a but tight and needed a bit of air. Dark opaque purple with no aging rim, nice nose full of dark fruit, black cherry with oak. On the palate the same but the wine is very densely flavoured and structured. Tannins still are a bit rough and there is a bit of hotness at the end. Solid wine, straightforward. $29.99 per bottle recently purchased.

The St. Estephes' are usually made jes' as you decribe this Cru Bourgeois. In good vintages this appellation makes some of the best P/Q wines in Bordeaux,IMHO. Some of my favorite vineyards lie in this often over-looked area. WW

WW, Thanks for the feedback! I always worry about each posting I put up as I could be totally out in well beyond left field. The information was also great to know!
