This underappreciated property has made some serious steps up in quality IMHO during the late 80s' and 90s'. Deep ruby.The nose is loaded with floral notes(violets and roses), sweet spices and high red fruits with a dose of vanilla. Soft entry, nice center and a solid 3&3/4 lapper finish. Concentrated flavors and balance. Hard to believe this wine is 11 years young. A really superior drinking wine that still has another 2-4 to go to finish. 90/93. 20 on futures. 13% alc. WW
