Served on Christmas night along with an Inniskillin Shiraz....which unfortunately stood no chance beside this guy...

What a pretty wine. Nice deep colour, purple and dense. Great nose of cherries, berries, raspberries, cedar and a hint of spices. This wine is definitely medium plus to full body and drinks super smooth. Great texture on the mouth, silky, soft, and easy drinking now.....maybe it was wrong to pass up on the 04 futures... the only good thing is that they have not gone up a lot so I have a second chance. $49 at the LCBO....would be closer to $26 USD in the US....hard to beat at this price point.

Have most of a box of the '00 resting comfortably, but have not tried the '04. Most '04s Bordeaux I have sampled have been superb.
