2004 Chateau D'Armailhac

Punching above it's weight. Lovely and showing well.

Deep dark garnet in colour, full deep fruit, starting out more berries and rasberries, but when opened for about 4 hours, more mellowed and more dark cherries. Medium plus bodied, lush and good texture, and long finish. Finishes just a bit hot for me so would benefit from a bit more time in the bottle to bring it all together. If priced right, I'll look to pick up a few more of these.
