2000 Chateau Tourans "Terre Blanche", St. Emilion

$3.75 for 1.5 oz. pour at Enoteca Vin in Raleigh. (I had tried this at a tasting of 2000 Bordeaux and wanted to re-taste it.)
I liked it the first time (in 2003)as did every one at my table but thought it would improve with some time. It may be in a closed period now because I wasn't very impressed with it. Red currants on nose. Struck me as sort of a basic Bordeaux on the palate--not showing much depth or complexity. Fuzzy tannins. I have two bottles and will try to hold off on opening them for another three years.
