Les Cleret (accent over the first e) 1998. I think this cost $12.

A snappy wine showing what tastes like Cabernet Franc and Merlot somewhere underneath. Bright, a little green pepper but not so much to make it taste young, medium body, reasonably long finish.

Did well with black angus burger mixed with crushed garlic and light soy sauce, grilled rare with grilled onions (on the new Jennair cooktop--oh boy).
