I'm new here, I'm not too up on wines (Hence why I placed it in this catagory.)
Someone gave us a bottle of wine many years ago and we put it in the cellar and forgot about it. We want to know whether it is still good. It is a 1971, Grand Cru Classe, Chateau Branaire (Duluc-Ducru), St Julien Medoc, red table wine, imported by Chevalier Importers.

Hi Littlefish and welcome to the board. Sorry to be the bearer of bad tidings but this was a bad vintage in Bordeaux and most of the wines died peacefully over 20 years ago. Not much hope. Open it and stand back so you don't get hurt. WW. (This should have been in the Bordeaux thread but 'haint no big deal. WW
