Had dinner at Megu, the Japanese restaurant in TriBeCa.

This wine opened very tight and rather discombobulated. It needed air to come together a bit but it turned out still less than expected, especially for the price being within a stones throw of $100. Floral but reserved nose, body was light and acidic, which in itself is not bad, but did not have much stuffing for a Meursault. It was an acceptable wine that went well with the sushi but I expected so much more from this producer.
