Nice mouthfeel with a lithe, mineral floral nose and palate. Opens up with a bit of time (like 4 hours) but showing nicely with TONS of minerals at the end. Liquid minerals. Very nice but a bit steep at $64.99...but then again...

"Lithe" ... meaning graceful? Is this closer to the '03 or more concentrated like the late '90s/00 versions. I've had the '96 and the '00 and loved this style. Then the '03 came along and it seemed like another winemaker was in charge. I know the weather had something to do with this, but I am curious if thier style is changing all together.....

Lithe as in a bit light in fruit (perhaps more graceful) but more floral and mineral (but in this case not steely.)...perhaps wrong choice of words (thxs for the point out). Definitely not like the 03, which was more fruit and fuller (at least the ones I've tried which are limited ..got live on a budget right?).

Hmmmm... Maybe I had an off bottle. The '03 Embrazee was lacking in fruit. Great flavor and some complexity but not much concentration. From what you said, maybe my bottle was just plain off or mildly corked. I only had it once........... Anyway, thanks for the response.

The other thing it could have been, when I first opened it, it lacked concentration of flavors. I waited 4 to 5 hours before I tried it again, and it finally opened up.

I haven't had the '04. That's what caught my interest. But it sounds like I need to try also. I'll pick some up soon as well.....
