My last bottle so decided to open it on my sons birthday. I was safe from sharing as he lives in Minneapolis so toasted him by phone. Can't say this bottle has really improved mush since we opened the last one in 91.Beautifully defined cab flavors. Brite red fruits, cassis, sweet spices(cinnamon?), vanilla, and held together by silky tannins. At or near the top of its game. Not as profound as some of the later Graces but still an outstanding bottle.WW

You opened a 92 vintage in 91? Talk about Back to the Future!

and when you invert the 91 you find that what he really meant was 1901.

Actually, I suspected as much, ww. I just couldn't resist the opening you left. I was also going to comment on how I would have thought a nice Auslese Riesling would have improved the "mush" a whole lot more than a Cab - but I didn't want to go too far with the zing.

Sorry KC but no SW in the world can improve on this bottle regardless of my atrocious typing. WW
