the 99 Isoceles is available for Wine Society members. I ordered my 12 bottle limit and am looking forward to this vintage. Winery says it rivals the 97; lots of up front fruit with a better tannin structure. $38 per for members...

Rags, to what wine society do you refer?

That would be the Justin Wine Society. They ship 6 bottles every June and November. I specify "reds only" and have been very satisfied with all of their offerings. I only joined so I can get the 20% discount on their Isoceles! You can order their wines at any time and you always get the 20% discount, and shipping is free in California!

I have one bottle of their 99 Justification which came in one of the shipments but haven't tried it yet. Is it drinking well right now???

The 99 Justification is drinking great but will likely benefit from some cellaring. Has some classic cab france herbaceous notes (bell pepper), but a TON of gushing red and black fruits underneath. Not for oak-a-phobes, but the oak is balanced with the fruit. 94/92.

has anyone tasted the Isoscoles and has it been reviewed by WS or RP? My store is selling it for $39 and am waiting to jump.

Hi leatherman and welcome to the board. Don't know about Big Bob or The Speculator but I tried the 99 and IMHO it is a shade behind the 97. A very solid effort that will probably end up in the outstanding #s' but sure wont climb into the classic. Still a whale of a wine for the bucks. WW

$39 is a great price for this offering which always sells out pretty quickly...
haven't tried it yet, and I'm itching to pop the cork on some 97's sitting patiently...
