Their regular bottling. Dark ruby, not opaque. Nose of bright and dark fruit, violets and a little mocha. Brighter cab flavors dominate, not as deep as I expected. Good mid palate and finish. Plenty of tannins and good acidity will carry this several more years. 13.5%Alc/vol. $13. Will try the other half of the bottle tonight and report back.

A little more plush on day 2 and a little more complex with some stronger flavors as reported and a slight licorice note. Still a little hollow....probably not a good showing for the '94 regular bottling. All gone!

Drew this is close to what I found when I tried this wine on release. For some reason, the Reserve bottling at 2 bucks more per was a good 5-7 pernts better and the Generations a solid 10. This was one of the few regular bottlings of 94s' I did "Texas" On ( El Paso)
