Had a buddy drop by yesterday afternoon so after consulting the list he choose this booger. Even tho Bart can be an arrogant critter I give him credir for his stewardship of this outstanding vineyard. Some of my most memorable wine-memories have been tied to the Eisele grapes and this is another notch on the ole' wine-pistol.Clear ruby. Massive florals on opening. Lavender, carnations, and roses with a dollop of sweet spice. Silk on the tongue, with a heavy center and the remarkable 5 lapper finish. As finished as this wine is there are still some fine polished tannins that need another 1-3 to fully resolve. I'll always err on the short side of the aging plane.Classic. WW
