This bottle was featured at todays' lunch. Can assure you Dave did hisself proud on this lovely. After the 1st sip i ordered a box. Didn't really judge the wine other than the P/Q but will give a report later. Definately rate this hummer in the 92-94 class for quality and exceptional in quality. Trey it Mikey,,,, youse'll like it. WW

Had this with a nice tri-tip lunch yesterday. Lovely medium ruby. Nose loaded with floral notes, red fruit, spice, and a sensation of sweetness because of the putrity of the fruit. The entry is smooth and a solid center gives way to a 4+-lapper finish. A really enjoyable bottle that has enough balance and tannins to see it go for at least another 4-6. GOOD STUFF!!! Blend is 49% Cabernet, 44% Merlot, 4% Petite Verdot, and 3% Cabernet Franc. 92/94 21 by the box. 13.5% alc. WW

I think WW is saying purity of the fruit, not putridity. LOL

Had another of this killer bottling last nite. The nose is coming along swimmingly and the concentrated fruit has had enough extra time to fuse together. A delight to drink. Still needs another 2-4 to shed a passel of silky tannins. No change in scoring. WW

Nose has definately taken its' place on the planet. Florals from roses to violets along with a tad of carnations...the whole bloomin' shop linger with sweet spices and cassis. Still needs another 3-5 to completely come into its' zenith but will definately reward the patient bugger who can restrain the immediacy(NOTE BRW!!!!). Mite kick it up on the next bottle. For now it's still in the 92 area. WW

saw three area stores had this bottle on their web sites, but none of them said which year they had. e-mailed all of them asking the vintage, and none of them has answered.

Broke out another for lunch yesterday and it hasn't lost a beat. Nose gets more fragrant the longer I keep my grubbies offn' it. Hits the mark for me every time. No change in scoring. WW
