Pulled another bottle of the brawney sucker. A bit more of the aromatics than last bottle and a softening of the considerable tannins. Reminds of a junior Grange without the sleekness. Put a tab on the note to not open for another 2 years. WW

Re the St Hugo Coonawarra '93...I was in Australia last year and ate at the Boatshed resturant in Nowra. Great meal, but even better was the '97 St Hugo. Bought two bottles at the duty free on the way home and did the same again on my last trip. Great stuff!! Hope to have some more business Down Under soon so I can buy some more. I've never heard anyone else mention this wine and don't know if it is available in the U.S.. If you know where I can get it please let me know (The Wine Club in Santa Ana doesen't have it).

My favorite wine shop here in Phoenix has carried it for years. I started with the 92 and just put in a box of the 98. It is a massive, well-balanced piece of work. Not sure about your shipping laws, but if you're interested let me know and I'll see if they have any left. WW

Thanks WW. Unfortunately the great state of Alabama dosen't allow us non-Baptists to bring in any wine from the outside (at least it can't be shipped in). My company headquarters is in California (Tustin in Orange County) and I often have wine shipped to my office address there and pick it up when I visit. If your shop could ship it to a California address, I would be most interested.

Hi CD. If you're in Tustin, one of my favorite wine shops in the country is right next door in Costa Mesa, Hi Time Cellars.I can say without too much reservation that they will have the Orlando and lots of other jewels from down under. You can get them at 800-331-3005. Tell Chuck Hanson Hi. WW
