tossed with a combination of veggies: green and yellow squash, green beans, onions, and lots of tomatoes. Finished with parmesan cheese.

Dolcetto would be my choice, too.

Engineer: In Italian, the ch construction is pronounced as a k--the c followed by a vowel is pronounced the way we say ch.

Signed Mr. Pellechia, and now you know how to say that name.

Ahh! Many thanks for that! I grew up in an Italian neighbourhood and always had difficulty with those. Another one I had made a mistake on was:

"cc" mispronounced by me as ch and was later informed to be more like "see" (btw, is that correct??), last name in this case was Tucci.

The c's always got me. I was alway okay with the Baldassini, Permavelli, Badalli, Lamana, Pagliarini's, etc,...and that was beore we got to Sicili and (gasp), Malta!! (no we really are not Italians, those mainlanders.....)

Engineer,

With cc it depends on the vowel that follows.

Rocco--k

Tucci--ch or see

piccolo-k

Ricci-ch or see

Who said it's organized? How could it be? It's Italian! Ever see a bunch of Italians form a line

On foot or in their automobiles? Either way, there is no such thing as straight when it comes to lines of Italians.

As least not in Rome or Naples or Genoa or San Remo or Porto Fino.
