I usually buy the gallon jug of port. Would you know the calories in a 6 oz glass?

Hi Pat and welcome to the Wine Board. Don't the exact amount, but you would only get about a third as much with a gallon of Hearty Burgundy or any other red table wine for that matter. Port and other dessert wines are not for dieters.

Thank you.
I just wish they would print calories on wines.

Patjoy,

For a general rule: 5 oz. of wine runs between 90 and 120 calories, depending upon the sugar content. Port is sweet.

Foodie, thank you so much for answering this.
Wouldn't it be nice if they had the calories on all bottles? Or maybe not, we might not drink as much.
