I am anxious to avail myself of the cardiac benefits of red wine, but haven't found one that suites my taste. Is there a red wine that tastes similarly to Beringer's White Zinfindel that you can recommend?

Hi Neald, and welcome to the Wine Board. You might try Italian Lambrusco or French 2001 Beaujolais Nouveau (at least up to the end of January). If we knew where you were from, we could recommend some regional possibilities.

Thank you for your quick response. I live in California, and there are certainly plenty of wine rescources here.

You might try some of your Central Coast syrahs. Many of them are quite jammy. Ask for that quality when you go shopping.
