Thanks to Roberto and Innkeeper. Your suggestion of a Pino Grigio was perfect. I picked up the Pino from Santa Margherita S.P.A and was made from Alto Adige/Valdadige grapes. Maybe it's not up to all your standards, but everyone at my house loved it.
In the end, thats what really matters. Eh?

Just so you know, Iggy, there are a lot of Pinot Grigios that are equally good or better for a lot less money than Santa Margherita; give them a try too.

Look for Pighin, Marco Felluga, Campanile and others.
