Exporting to Japan

Can anyone talk to me about the legal logistics involved in exporting California Wine to Japan?
In addition, I am looking for good CA red wines in the low to mid-price range to sell in Japan. The account has the potential to be high volume and extended.

A large percentage of online retailers will ship to Japan now.

They use Air Freight shipment and it gets there as fast as domestic ground does within the US.

Not sure of international shipping laws to other countries as the US alone is modifying their policies monthly.
