2003 Flower, Garden, and Outdoor Living Show of NJ

This was a lovely event full of roses, daffodils, tulips, hyacinths and orchids. Certainly a sight for these winter-weary eyes! Representing the Garden State Wine Growers Association were six of NJ's wineries offering samples of their wines. From the Alba winery we purchased some delicious Riesling, blush, and a red raspberry dessert wine. From the Valenzano winery we bought an incredible cranberry wine. (We grow a lot of cranberries in NJ.) A couple of months ago I knew absolutely zero about wine. Thanks to you kind and knowledgeable folks on the Wine Board, today I felt that I at least knew a little about the various types of wine. Thanks, folks!
