Where would one find information about wine tasting events in Ireland?

I am an ex-pat over here for two more years, I have registered with the Wine Development Board of Ireland, which does have periodic tastings, however, I would like to particpate more often then once or twice a quarter.

Brit author Tom Stevenson checks in here from time to time...if he sees your note I'm sure he'll be able to help.

The benchmark wine-trade diary for Great Britain is posted in the back of Harpers Wine and Spirit Weekly. Unfortunately, subscription is quite dear at £110 a year, but it is invaluable if you want to know everything that is going on in the British Wine Trade. If you're interested, you can E-mail the Editor at :-

THE time to be in London is for the London Wine Trade Fair - May 18/19/20. This is fast becoming the world's most important wine convention, with every wine country in the world exhibiting. Don't miss it. You do, however, have to be in the trade, strictly speaking, but I am sure that a ticket can be arranged one way or the other.....
