2009 Chateau Cantemerle

Thought i'd check in on this wine. no rush, in fact a bit brooding tonight and tight, but still enjoyable. Very dark wine as is the fashion for these 2009's. Very classic and rather exuberant nose but still restrained, flormal, violets, etc. On the palate, quite deep in dark fruits, classic bordeaux markers of pencil lead, slight herbs, peppers and minerals. Quite lush still and will be better when it opens back up.
