Let's call a spade a spade, this wine is on the decline and has seen better days, but yet it was still a compelling drink.

The wine still held onto some fruit, slightly sweet, not very complex, but elegant, nice tecture, moving to tea, meat and dried fruits. Medium finish, slightly acidic, but very pleasant indeed.

A vintage that was deemed inferior on release and was priced accordingly. I bought a fair amount for early drinking and they produced in spades during the 80s & 90s. Taught me that listening to the "EXPERTZ" sometimes is silly. Always try, analize and trust your palate. WW
