Why Don't Browsers Post
One can visit this site almost any time of day or night and find a dozen or so browsers lurking around. Why are they reluctant to join the game, and do some posting?

I don't get that either. I wonder if signing up is an issue. Tried to make that as easy as possible without letting spammers through. If anyone wants to try to register with a new username, let me know if it's easy or not. I've tried it and I didn't see any problem.

Do you know what the general ratio of lurkers to contributors is? I would love to see some new blood writing!

RE: Why Don't Browsers Post
Well, from a member, sometime poster and daily browser I've become bored with posting TNs. It's not the Board or members, the board is great and the members are like friends...it's just me. I still drink wine but I'm just bored. Hopefully a phase, take no criticism.

Drew

I'm kind of like Drew. We've been drinking our share of nice wines, like the 08 Clos Pepe Estate PN, but just not posting. I guess I'll have to belly up.

At the moment there are 20 browsers lurking. How many of them will post? My guess is none!

All day today there have been 10 to 15 lurkers. I made a post, but that's it.

RE: Why Don't Browsers Post
I stop by 2 boards fairly regularly and don't post because I have nothing constructive to say. 90% of the posts I read seem to be critical or somewhat sniveling (love the word) or pretensous. Now there's a whole thread about the products they like at Trader Joes and one of the posters made the inane comment "Nothing!" Boy did I have to bite me keyboard on that one. Poor old unsophisticated me has only had one thing in the meeny yars I been shopping there that I wasn't happy with. Most of my staples are purchased there. WW

A binding thought KC but I just can't fasten my attention span to this innocuous utterance. WW
