2008 Secret de Grand Bateau

Alright, second in the Thanksgiving 2013 lineup is the 2008 Secret de Grand Bateau, a dry white bordeaux. Why there are so many secrets in Bordeaux I don't know, but it is suppose to be a top house's extra barrels, specifically one from an great chateaux within the city limits.... sold by Ch. Beychevelle.

Regardless, for the price, this drinks very well now. a couple of years resting a home had smoothed out the rougher edges, still citrusy, smooth floral, quite a nice surprise again for the price. This bottle was emptied faster than I anticipated.
